Every passing day brings us one step closer to the last We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports Summer Camp for this season. And as we look back at our activities during the season, we can’t help but be glad to have had such an eventful and fun-filled summer. We stayed connected with our youth even during the pandemic and persevered through the harshest of circumstances. Yes, we have made huge progress. From hosting virtual practice sessions to arranging physical summer camps, we have done our best to keep our youth healthy and fit.
We W.I.L.L Thru Sports Summer Camp August 2021
We W.I.L.L. Thru sports would like to invite any young people of ages between 11 to 14 years to its last camp of the summer. This camp will be run a little differently than our last Together As One Camp due to a new added strength and conditioning component. Coach Perez will arrange specific exercises for the young people to participate in. These exercises would involve the use of personal body weight and allow the participants to understand the workout they could get with just their own body. Participants will get detailed instructions on how to use resistance bands safely. They will also be able to understand the difference between bands and weights. Coach Joe and Coach Henry will again collaborate for all other basketball drills and structured skill-building sessions throughout the rest of the camp days.
We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports Summer Camp – Dates, Time, Location & Expectations!
We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports Summer Camp for August 2021 will be starting from 10 AM-3 PM on the weekend of August 28th and 29th, 2021. It will be located on E 96th street and 1st Ave. The camp is once again sponsored by the NY Post; thus, allowing participants to attend free of charge. However, the participants will be required to attend both days of the camp. If you’re unable to participate on both days, then you might have to join us at the next available opportunity.

Besides finishing up the camp with a wealth of knowledge, new skills under your belt, and an opportunity to meet new people, this camp provides other goodies that you are sure to love. All participants will receive these items on the last day of the camp and will not be disappointed. In conclusion, this camp will be a new opportunity to continue learning basketball skills but also add a new component to get you fit. This camp will prepare you for any sport or activities you might want to participate in. There is a commitment to attend both days but worth every minute if you decide to join.
