Participate in Kindness Day
In the first place, being kind should be something that we all do regularly. However, this is something that needs to be brought into the forefront for everyone. Since many people forget to do simple things due to pressure in our lives; it shouldn’t be hard to instill qualities that should be part of our everyday lives
Sometimes a simple gesture goes a long way. For instance:
- Smile
- Open a door for someone
- Compliment someone – this can be either a stranger or anyone you interact with
- Pay it forward
Random Acts of Kindness to Make part of your Life
When it comes to being kind, there are many things that you should do, as well as teach your children. Therefore, if our kids are taught this at an early age; they will carry this on to their kids and future generations.
First and foremost, treat everyone the way you want to be treated. If you have children, make sure you talk to them about what they are doing and how they treat others.
Meanwhile, it is important to teach your kids how to be sensitive to others. For instance, have your kids visit a relative today. You can have your kids bring something special to an older relative or have them play a game with a relative or share a meal.
In addition, it is important that your kids know how special they are. Be sure to visit our Absolutely Incredible Kids Day post on ways to let each kid know how special they are. By letting your kids know of their importance, they will, in turn, treat others similarly.
In summary, it is important to teach our kids not only to be respectful; but also empathetic to situations.
Indeed, it is important to participate in kindness day and make a difference. Through your kindness; you’re encouraging our youth – ways to behave and hopefully, this will encourage positive change for the better in the world.
