Our Lives Matter Championship Tournament

Due to the recent tragedy that took place; this tournament was a collaboration of a lot of hard work by many individuals and the Goddard Riverside.

Of course, sports have a ways of bringing communities together. With the hard work and dedication by many individuals and the community; our mission was to restore faith.

Together with the community, We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports wants to continue to grow their program and keep our youth off the street.

Through the hard work of Joe working extra hours to keep the official records and going above and beyond; we wanted to let you know we couldn’t have done the tournament without you.

Also, a special thank you to Henry’s brother, Miguel Perez who helped out in many ways. We appreciated you bringing equipment, water and anything else we needed to help the tournament run smoothly.

Since it is our mission to get all of our youth off the street and involved in our sports programs; we hope to continue to grow our program and help all kids reach their potential.

With the hard work, all of the kids have the opportunity to learn more about basketball as well as make new friends and learn the importance of team work.

In summary, we hope to see all kids involved in our future programs.

As always, I welcome your comments.
