NHL 24 Team Post Season
Since the announcement in May, many of the players have been preparing to return to the ice. Although the hub cities for both the Eastern and Western conferences have yet to be announced; once this is determined, things will begin to take shape.
Presently, it has been reported that Las Vegas is rumored to be the hub city for the Eastern Conference. For the Western Conference, Toronto is the favorite to be the hub city.
Also, Chicago is rumored as one of the hub cities.
When things are ready to begin again, there will be two weeks of training camp. In addition, there will be one exhibition game for each team taking place on either July 23 or July 24th.
Top 12 Teams from each Conference
At the same time, the top 12 teams of each conference will head to the postseason. Moreover, these 24 teams will begin training camp on July 10th.
Because both the league and players agreed to this new format; the top four teams in both the East and the Western Conference will play a round-robin format to determine seeding. The teams ranked from 5 to 12 in each conference will play a best of five series to be able to advance to the first round.
Of course, one of the biggest challenges for all 24 teams will be to return to form after a long layoff. For many of these players, returning to the ice and getting back into sync with their teammates will be a great feeling.
