So, this month is National Nutrition Month. No doubt, no matter how old you are; eating healthy is important. In today’s post, I am going to share some tips with you on making good food choices that are good for any age group.

How to Change Bad Eating Habits

Since many of us tend to buy the same food and eat the same type of food often, it is time to shake these bad habits. In the first place, start by making a few small changes to your diet. At the same time, it is important to think about our diet. First and foremost, start slow.

For instance, in the morning substitute a donut or croissant for a piece of whole wheat toast or an egg white. Another suggestion I have is if you crave sweets during the day; try eating a piece of dark chocolate, yogurt or a piece of fruit. Indeed, the key is to start slow.

National Nutrition Month

The Academy of Nutritionists and Dietetics declared March as a month to learn about different types of food options. When you visit their site, there are a lot of recipes and videos available on a healthy lifestyle.

So, are you ready to make a few changes to your diet? In the same fashion, one of the best tips I have is to eat  smaller portions. When you’re in your local supermarket; spend more time in the produce, fruit and fish aisle. If you cook a lot, try using real butter and olive oil. In my opinion, the olive oil below is a great product for cooking, making salad dressing and to dip our bread into.
