Make your donation count. In short, today is Giving Tuesday. Indeed, it is important to give something meaningful. When you’re making out your holiday to do list; a donation to our non-profit helps.
Giving Back Tuesday
When Giving Tuesday began, it’s goal was to help people realize there is more to the holiday season than just shopping. This holiday was created by both the United Nations Foundation and the 92nd Street Y. So, their goal was to set a day about celebrating the tradition of giving.
Although not everyone can afford to give, this day is about helping others. For those who cannot afford monetary donations; you can help others by offering your services at the following:
- Blood Drive
- Community projects
- Food banks
- Hospitals
- Nursing Homes
- Shelter
Make Your Donation Count
In the first place, Giving Tuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back. Let’s use today as a day to make a statement. When you give to our organization; you’re helping continue the goals and dreams of many of our youth to participate in our program.
At the same time, We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports isn’t just about sports. Our program wants to help all kids strive to be the best they can be. Whether these children hope to be involved in sports in their career or not; our program helps kids achieve results. To read more about our program; be sure to visit our Quality Sports Kids Program post.
What your Donation Means
When you give a donation; you’re giving our program the opportunity to help a kid achieve results. Not only does our program help kids develop confidence and learn new skills; however, more importantly, our program helps kids learn good sportsmanship skills and build better peer relationships.
In conclusion, all non-profits can use your help.
So, it is important for each and everyone of us to find a way to do something that will benefit someone else or an organization. By giving, you’re helping make a difference. No matter how you choose to spend the day; we hope you will give to our organization either a donation or help at one of our events.
As always, I welcome your comments on how you plan to make your donation count.
