Kansas City Chiefs v San Franciso 49ers
Since there was a lot of hype leading up to the big game; Super Bowl LIV provided a good game as well as an energetic half time performance.
Be sure to check out our Home Teams Win Conference Game 2020 post to read about the Chiefs and 49ers win that led up to the Super Bowl.
So, let’s take a look at the game. For the majority of the game; it looked as if the 49ers were going to win the game. Although the Chiefs were down by a score of 20 – 10 in the fourth quarter; they were able to come back from the third post season game in a row with a victory.
In the first place, I thought some of the officiating was questionable. At the same time, in the first half; a play was called back for offensive interference. And, in the second half, the 49ers defense wasn’t as good. In the meantime, there were several missed calls in the second half.
Halftime Show
Since the last two years of halftime shows by Maroon 5 and Justin Timberlake; this year’s performance by Jennifer Lopez and Shakira provided a much better performance.
Shakira started the show on the stage with a heart stopping performance. And, J. Lo started her performance from a pole above. Both performers were high energy and their roots came across with songs both in English and Spanish. In addition, J. Lo’s daughter, Emme and other children sang.
Indeed, this halftime show will be remembered as one with high energy and a lot of personality.
In essence, although J. Lo is well known in the United States; many thought that Shakira was the better performer.
Kansas City Chiefs First Win in 50 Years
