It’s the Most Wonderful Time of Year

With Christmas a little over a week away; the holiday season is the most wonderful time of the year. With the playoffs just ending two months ago; the 2020-21 season is around the corner.

NBA 2020-21 Regular Season Structure

For the 2020-21 season, there will be 72 games for each team. In the first half of the season, the teams will have an All-Star break for 5 days on March 5, 2020. And, the second half of the season will begin on March 11, 2020, and will finish on May 16, 2020.

At the same time, the regular season will have each team within each division play three games against an intraconference opponent (42 games per team). Also, the league’s office has assigned each team with an opponent they will be playing either once at home or once on the road.

When the regular season concludes, playoffs will begin on May 22nd and finish on July 22nd.

Although the schedule above has been released; it could change due to the pandemic. Of course, the schedule is to keep all players and personnel safe.

Since there are some trades in the works and other free agents who are still available; there may be some changes before the season officially opens.

Finally, any team could still end up with a present before the season begins.

Ultimately, it’s the most wonderful time of year for basketball fans everywhere. Not only will you be having some time off from school or work; but you will also be able to tune into the 2020-21 season.
