Health and fitness buffs- have no fear that Halloween is here.

This Halloween We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports is practicing alternatives to candy/sweets to help stay on track with our fitness goals!

Remember To:

  1. Find a healthy balance
  2. Try to get your workout in early
  3. Drink lots of low sugar liquids and water
  4. Stick with Your Normal Meal Plans
  5. Hold yourself accountable
  6. Find an Accountability Buddy
  7. Chew sugarless gum
  8. Give yourself grace and get back on track sooner than later
  9. DO NOT Buy your Favorite candy
  10. Get creative with pumpkin flavor- it’s a healthy alternative to fats


Parent Role Model on Halloween

This Halloween we have lots of options and want to utilize all our knowledge so our hard work does not go down the drain. We also want to continue modeling good eating habits and healthy lifestyles for our children to adopt. Halloween is one day where we can have fun, get creative, and put our self control and W.I.L.L. power into full gear. Visit our other blogs where we discuss the key being moderation. On Halloween lets have fun, be motivated to keep our goals but also  be motivated to get right back on track if we decide to “ take the day off”. Even if we have sweets we can still add in some fun exercises just for the day. Below are Halloween exercises parent and child can do together.


Halloween exercise to do with your child

-Pumpkin push-ups

-Spider crawl planks

-Skull crushers- use light weights or only body weight

-Devils press-use light weights or only body weight
