Fundraiser Success
Of course, for the last several months there was a lot of excitement for our third annual fund raiser. Be sure to visit our Masquerade Fundraiser Countdown post to read more about this fun event.
In addition, We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports presented a plaque to Monica Morales. Monica has been instrumental in making things happen for our program and we cannot thank her enough for her tireless support.
Not only was Monica able to help us achieve results for our sports program; but she has also been readily available to lend an ear. We are grateful to have her continuous involvement in our non-profit.
Our attendees were excited about this year’s silent auction items; as well as our quality of door prizes.
Masquerade Fund Raiser Moments
So, not only did this night start off with our engaging Emcee, Deborah Wood’s; but also the DJ played a variety of current and hip hop music.
From the minute you entered F & J’s Pine restaurant, you were treated to great displays of sports memorabilia and collages from many of our programs.
Of course, the Man of the hour, our founder, Henry Perez is tirelessly working to strengthen We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports. Below is a photograph of Henry with his son.
Since this was the first time I attended a We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports Fundraiser; I was thrilled to meet so many fantastic people.
