First and foremost, We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports appreciates the support at our Masquerade Fundraiser this past Thursday, October 18, 2018.

Fall Masquerade Fundraiser

Over the last month, excitement was building for our second annual Fall fundraiser. Be sure to check-out our Fall Masquerade Fundraiser Reminder post. Because we changed our location for this year’s event, everyone was especially looking forward to dinner at the popular Frankie & Johnny’s Pine Restaurant.

Masquerade Fundraiser Recap

Fall Masquerade Fundraiser Thank You

In the first place, this night was kicked off with a great selection of current and hip-hop music by our great DJ. As guests entered the event, appetizers were served.

So, once everyone was seated; Henry Perez and Mary Woods introduced themselves and spoke about their achievement over the last year. After that, we had two of our Youth speakers talk about how the organization impacted their lives.

For We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports, our mission has been to touch kids lives. One of our guest speakers, spoke about her experience in receiving the MVP and how that built up her self esteem. Another guest speaker, spoke about how his participation in Summer Camp brought out the best in him and others.

Indeed, we were proud to hear of the impact our organization has had.

After dinner, the DJ opened the dance floor. And, everyone had one more chance to revisit the items available from our silent auction.

Winners were announced. And, everyone continued to dance for the remainder of the night.

Thank you for your Support

In summary, We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports would like to thank everyone for their time and support. Especially, we appreciate everyone making the time on a school or work night to attend our fundraiser.

In addition, we would like to thank all the organizers, volunteers and donations received to make this Fall Masquerade Fundraiser a success.

As a result of everyone’s generosity, We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports is hoping to continue to grow and achieve great things for our youth.

As always, I welcome your comments.
