So, now that the qualifying rounds have ended; let’s take a look at some of the upsets. In the first place, many fans and sports analysts picked the Boston Bruins to be the team to beat after they won the Presidents’ Trophy. However, in the Round Robin standings in the East; the Bruins had three straight losses to be in the bottom.

Eastern Conference Playoff Schedule

Here’s the schedule for the Eastern Conference games.

Boston Bruins v Carolina Hurricanes

Game 1 and Game 2 will be on August 12th – 3:00 p.m. and August 13th at 8:00 p.m.
Game 3 and Game 4 will be on August 15th at 12:00 p.m. and August 17th at 8:00 p.m.
However, if needed – Game 5 will be August 19th, Game 6 will be August 20th and Game 7 on August 23rd.

Philadelphia Flyers v Montreal Canadians

Game 1 and Game 2 will be on August 12th at 8:00 p.m. and August 14th at 3:00 p.m.
Game 3 and Game 4 will be on August 16th at 8:00 p.m. and August 18th at 3:00 p.m.
However, if needed – Game 5, 6 and 7 – will be August 19th, 21st, and 23rd – TBD

Washington Capitals v New York Islanders

Game 1 and Game 2 will be on August 12th at 3:00 p.m. and August 14th at 8:00 p.m.
And, Game 3 and 4 will be on August 16th at 12:00 p.m. and August 18th at 8:00 p.m.
However, if needed, Game 5, 6 and 7 – will be on August 19th, 21st, and 22nd – TBD

Tampa Bay Lightning v Columbus Blue Jackets

Game 1 and Game 2 will be on August 11th at 3:00 p.m and August 13th at 3:00 p.m.
Game 3 and Game 4 will be on August 15th and 17th at 7:30 p.m.
And, if needed – Game 5, 6 and 7 will be on August 19th, 21st, and 22nd

Western Conference Playoff Schedule

In the Western Conference, the schedule is as follows:

Colorado Avalanche v Arizona Coyotes

So, Game 1 and 2 will be at 5:30 on August 11th and 2:00 p.m. on August 12th
Game 3 and Game 4 will be on August 15th at 3:00 p.m. and August 17th at 5:30 p.m.
And, if needed – Game 5, 6 and 7 will be on August 19th, 21st, and 23rd

St Louis v Vancouver Canucks

So, Game 1 and Game 2 will be on August 12th at 10:30 p.m. and August 14th at 6:30 p.m.
Game 3 and Game 4 will be on August 16th at 10:30 p.m. and August 17th at 10:30 p.m.

Dallas Stars v Calgary Flames

So, Game 1 and Game 2 will be on August 11th at 5:30 p.m. and August 13th at 10:30 p.m.
