Absolutely Incredible Kids Day is today. So, if your kid is a good kid, make a special day for him or her. And, if your kid is incredible, make a special day for them too.
Absolutely Incredible Kids Day
First and foremost, today is a day to brag about your kids. In the first place, this day was started by Campfire USA to show all kids they are loved and cared for. At the same time, Campfire USA is about wanting all kids to know how much they mean to you.
Of course, it isn’t every day that you often tell your kids how much you appreciate them. So, use today to at least let one kid know they are absolutely incredible. And, if you don’t have kids; you can still let a friend’s kid, a relative’s kid or someone you teach on how special they are.
Celebrate Absolutely Incredible Kids Day
Celebrate a kid who is meaningful to you today by writing a letter. Even if you’re not much of a writer; you can pick up a cute card and add a message on what makes the kid special to you.
So, if you’re not sure how to get started in writing a letter, I have the following tips for you.
- First, write a list of things to describe the kid you’re writing about. For instance, write something funny, honest, caring or helpful.
- Second, make mention of a fun time you had recently with your kid.
- Third, add something you think the kid would like to read about themselves.
- Finally, make the letter personal.
Since there are many ways to communicate with kids, a letter is personalized. When a kid receives a special letter, they can read it over and over again.
Messages are a powerful way to communicate. To read more, be sure to check out our recent post on recognizing one of the kids who participate in our program. Visit Andre Jackson March 2019 post as this may give you some ideas on what to write.
As always, I welcome your comments.
