After the Super Wildcard games; the 2021 NFL Divisional Round playoff schedule is all set. To read about this past weekend’s games; be sure to visit our 2021 NFL Wildcard Weekend Schedule post.

2021 NFL Divisional Round Playoff

Although there were several predictions prior to the Wildcard round; two of the games had surprising results. Surprisingly, the Seattle Seahawks were the favorite; but early on they weren’t able to get things going offensively. In the end, the Los Angeles Rams No.1 defense was too much for the Seahawks.

In the final game of the Wildcard round, the Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Cleveland Browns. Although the Steelers started their season undefeated at 11-0; their season collapsed and they went in the wrong direction. Unfortunately, their turnovers and interceptions in the first quarter quickly put this game out of reach.

At the same time, I can see why this past weekend was called the Super Wildcard weekend. Indeed, it was beyond wild. Not only did we see some upsets; but we saw 2 teams who haven’t been in the playoffs for a long time, both advance.

Also, we saw both the No. 5 and No. 6 seed win over their divisional opponents.

2021 NFL Divisional Round – Saturday, January 16, 2021

So, this Saturday, there will be 2 games.

In the first game, at 4:35 p.m., the No. 1 seed Green Bay Packers will face the No. 6 seed, Los Angeles Rams.

With the Los Angeles Rams having the number 1 defense in the NFL; will they be able to beat the Packers?

At 8:15 p.m., the No. 5 seed, the Baltimore Ravens will play the No.2 seed, the Buffalo Bills.

2021 NFL Divisional Round – Sunday, January 17, 2021

On Sunday, January 17, 2021, there will also be 2 games.

In the first game, at 3:05 p.m., the No. 1 seed Kansas City Chiefs will play the No. 6 seed, Cleveland Browns.

Also, on Sunday, we will see the No.2 seed, the New Orleans Saints face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 6:40 p.m.

Predictions

When the playoffs were announced, I had both the Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers as my pick to make it to the Super Bowl. However, after seeing all 6 of the games this weekend; the Los Angeles Rams defense could prove to be a huge problem for any team facing them.

Of course, this upcoming weekend should provide plenty of excitement for any fan.
