So, the 2020 NBA Conference Finals matchup is set. After some exciting playoff games; both conference finals have been set. 2020 NBA Conference Finals – Eastern Conference
So, last night the Boston Celtics faced off against the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. When the game first started, the Celtics took an 8 – 0 lead. However, the Heat has been a surprise in the playoffs and have already beat the Pacers and the Number 1 seed, the Milwaukee Bucks to advance to the Conference Finals.
Although the Celtics started the game looking like they were in control; there were several lead changes throughout the game. In fact, Game 1 went into overtime and the Heat beat the Celtics with a 117 – 114 victory with seconds remaining to take Game 1.
In the Eastern Conference, the schedule is as follows.
Game 2 will be on September 17th at 7:00 p.m.
Game 3 will be on September 19th at 8:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, Game 4 will be on September 21st – TBA
Moreover, if needed Game 5, 6, and 7 will be as follows: September 23rd, 25th, and 27th
2020 NBA Conference Finals – Western Conference
After an exciting series between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Denver Nuggets; the Nuggets won and will face off against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Surprisingly, the Nuggets similarly to the Heats have been a surprise. At the beginning of their series with the Clippers; they were down 3 – 1 and came back to win the series.
In the Western Conference, the schedule is as follows.
Game 1 will be on September 18th at 9:00 p.m.
Game 2 will be on September 20th at 7:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, Games 3 and 4 will be on September 22nd at 9:00 p.m. and September 24th at 9:00 p.m.
Moreover, if needed Game 5, 6, and 7 will be as follows: September 26th, 28th, and 30th.
2020 NBA Conference Finals Predictions
Although the Lakers have been inconsistent throughout the 2019-2020 season; they are the favorites to advance to the finals. In the Eastern Conference, the Heat have surprised everyone so far; however, the Celtics are the favorite with their impressive defense. Although the Heats have a better starting depth; the Celtics are hoping to compete for a title.
