No doubt, the 2019 NBA free agency season has been explosive. From Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant and Jimmy Butler; let’s take a look at the signings so far and the players that are still available.
2019 NBA Free Agency Signings
So, before the season started, there were already rumors circulating. Indeed, many wondered if Kevin Durant would leave the Golden Warriors.
Surprisingly, he decided to team up with Kyrie Irving and join the Brooklyn Nets. Earlier in the season, there was a lot of drama surrounding Kryie Irving. With Irving’s departure, the Celtics signed Kemba Walker. In signing Walker, the Celtics have made an upgrade after a disappointing season.
Although the Warriors lost Durant, they resigned Klay Thompson and D’Angelo Russell.
Also, Anthony Davis joined the Lakers.
After the Toronto Raptors won the NBA Championship, many weren’t sure if Kawhi Leonard would stay. Leonard decided to join the Clippers. With Leonard signing with the Los Angeles Clippers, the Clippers also decided to trade for Paul George.
Since Jimmy Butler left the Philadelphia 76ers, Butler will have the opportunity to make an impact with the Miami Heat. With Butler’s departure, the 76ers signed Tobias Harris and Al Horford.
In addition, there were many other moves made throughout the NBA. Although the 2019 Free Agency season has been active; there are still several free agents remaining. Now that Leonard has signed with the Clippers; the following players are still left.

- JaMychal Green
- Jabari Parker
- Kelly Oubre
- Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
